An apple and some wings

About twenty two years ago I stuck some plastic wings on a plastic apple. This became our logo, and seemed to fit Davey's songs and the music we played perfectly: the apple symbolising love, or perhaps temptation, and the wings representing the soaring and sometimes fleeting nature of it all... Jaysus, lighten up mate!

I have dabbled in art over the years, half heartedly but never wholly. Age has made me a little more focused (as focused as a working man can be in his free time). I am going to post some of my macabre and blasphemous work here from time to time. I hope you like it, it is an acquired taste i think.

Exquisite works! Lightening up is for cowards! Stay dark. Stay real.

Love it. Love the dark, macabre elements to these and the detailed intricacies meticulously carved and woven into them. And, of course, they sit well with my pessimistic outlook and cynical heart. Well done, young man. Very, very proud of ya. Keatsy x

I love junk. When I see it selected, repurposed and venerated, I love it even more. Bravo , Liam!
